Flame Cocoon (unedited)

Flame Cocoon

"Consume me from the inside out"
And burn my flesh away.
Purify the blanket shell
And make the truthfull hearness stay.
Rid the plague that now does loom
From mighty mount to darkened dune.

Upon the light of warming rays,
With cares for naught the dark nor dim,
The joyful light and sunbeams play
To bring the chill to naught but past.

Reach the itch that coats the body,
Coat the soul in fires red.
For as I sleep, I must be changed:
A new creation risen from bed.
